Is Asseto ISO 55001 certified?
ISO 55001 certifies organisations, not software. Asseto is built to help you record the asset lifecycle events an ISO 55001 asset management system requires — asset register, categorisation, location tracking, condition status, disposal — so your certification audit has the evidence it needs.
How is this different from a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet is one row per asset with a photo maybe. Asseto captures each event (purchase, movement, status change, disposal) with a timestamped audit log tied to the user who did it. That log is what an auditor asks for and what a spreadsheet cannot produce.
Do you have maintenance / work order features?
Not today. We track asset status (active / maintenance / retired) but do not schedule preventive maintenance or issue work orders. If maintenance scheduling is your primary need, look at UpKeep or MaintainX. If asset registry, warranty tracking and audit reports are what you actually need, Asseto is more focused and much cheaper.
Can I import existing asset data?
Yes. CSV import for items, locations and initial stock. Purchase records, warranty dates and depreciation history can be added per asset or in bulk.
