    Everything an accreditation reviewer wants

    Instrument register

Every piece of equipment — pipettes, balances, centrifuges, freezers — with purchase date, serial number, warranty, current status and location.

    Calibration & maintenance dates

Store the next calibration date on each instrument. Filter for what's due this month. PDF export ready for the accreditation folder.

    Reagent lot & expiry tracking

Every reagent lot with supplier, arrival date, expiry, current volume. Alerts before expiry. Trace which lot was used when, for method validation.

    Storage location & conditions

Assign reagents to fridges, freezers, benches. Track transfers with a full audit log — who moved what, when, why.

    Multi-site by design

Multiple labs, multiple rooms, multiple freezers — run one register with location-scoped views for each PI or lab manager.

    Audit-ready PDFs

PDF exports: instrument register, calibration schedule, reagent lot log, disposal record — signed with timestamp, ready for the accreditation review.

Does Asseto meet ISO 17025 register requirements?

ISO 17025 requires documented registers of equipment, reference materials and reagents with calibration/maintenance evidence. Asseto captures these fields and produces PDF exports for the accreditation folder. It does not manage method validation records or measurement uncertainty calculations.

Can I track calibration due dates and get alerts?

Yes. Set the next calibration date on each instrument. Dashboard shows what's due this month. Alerts fire 30, 14 and 7 days before.

Do you handle chain-of-custody for samples?

Not today. Asseto tracks the equipment and reagents used in a sample analysis, but sample chain-of-custody itself requires a LIMS. Contact us if you want to know what would be needed.

Can we track grant-funded equipment separately?

Yes. Add a category tag or use the classification field to mark grant-funded items. Filter and export register subsets for the grant progress report.
